Map orientation?

Forums:

Looks like the orientation of the compass changed recently - not sure why, or what effect it might have on the game. It could definitely cause some confusion when trying to give someone directions while they use the map.

As I pointed out in my other post, it was actually the map (from 1.0 on) that was wrong. With the 1.0 release, the direction of the sun changed (though clouds were left the same), and the map rendering did not reflect this. It is now correct as far as the game is concerned, but it is a bit odd. I really wish they had left the sun direction the same....

For the record, we do now have the ability to change the orientation of the compass on the map if we want to, but for now I will leave it in its corrected state.

Okay, gotcha. So, technically, I'm West of ThomasWatts, not North.
